The home is around 20 years old. Around 2005 we had the roof replaced. In 2007 I noticed a leak close to our entry way and living room. The original roof installer explained that it simply needed more tar to seal the trouble spot. He did come out and make the repairs. However, after other problems with the roof appeared he stopped taking my calls. I had another recommendation from my church. A man came out and was able to repair the roof over the garage, but the leak over the living room persisted. Mr. Inganamort came recommended by a friend. He came out and checked the gutters and roof. He looked under the shingles and made sure everything was sealed. He also removed the gutter that was giving me trouble. He re-sealed around the downspout. He explained everything he was doing. He gave me all the options. He was very thorough. He even scrubbed the area of shingles with Dawn and rinsed. He cleaned up after himself. He also repaired a poorly installed board near the gutter, he removed nails that had split the wood, removed the gutter, reinstalled the board and replaced the gutter. I was very impressed with him. It was wonderful experience. I am confident this repair will fix the problem. He provided excellent service

Within one hour of my call, a serviceman showed up to measure and temporarily repair a large crack in the existing skylight that was leaking badly when it rained. After fabrication of the 4' x 9' skylight, the installation was successfully completed with the assistance of a crane. I was completely satisfied from start to finish

They were on time and did good work. They cleaned up after themselves and we've had no signs of any further leaks. They were very professional and had a point man that came out and gave me a free estimate. Their price was very strong in comparison to some other bids. They didn't try to sell me a roof like some other companies did. I needed to get another 4 or 5 years out of my roof. Another company told me not even to try to patch my roof. After talking to them they kind of educated me on the shingles and I made the right decision. I would absolutely use them again.

Contacted The Skylighters Roofing Company about 2 roofing shingles that did not come close to matching the existing shingle shade. The shingles were placed there by another company that refused to correct the problem. The same day I contacted the The Skylighters, Todd stopped on his way home from work and within 20 minutes had resolved the problem. Todd refused payment with pass on the good deed. What a wonderful experience for a senior citizen.

We were having our windows and doors replaced with hurricane impact products. The company that did that job does not replace skylights, so I had to search for a company to do the job. I got a very favorable estimate from Skylighters to replace our old units for new impact ones. They also added a tubular skylight in a small master bath. Since they are also a roofing company, they replaced a flat roof over the lanai that was leaking and replaced damaged wood. The result was excellent on all accounts. The crew was friendly, and did their work diligently. Todd, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. He worked with us to ensure that we got the best value, and gave us several options to consider. I will definitely use their services again and refer them to friends, or anyone that needs this kind of work.

Todd Inganemont, the owner, made the sales call. He was very detailed in explaining the scope of the project, materials to be used and cost differences for options. The crew showed up as scheduled, removed the old roof down to the wood, replaced rotted wood as needed, installed new felt and ridge vents then new shingles were installed on the hip roof. They also replaced the flat roof on lanai as contracted. They provided and installed a "free with job" solar tube skylight. We liked it so much we had another installed right then and there. Wow! What a dramatic improvement in the light level inside our kitchen and family room areas! Lastly-new gutters, gutter guards, downspouts and vent pipe squirrel guards were added. We had our first rain a couple of days ago. No problems, No leaks! Todd called several times to follow up an insure the job was done to our satisfaction!

Todd came out in October to give us an estimate. Due to the economy and slow down at my job we didn't call him back until February. Todd was very understanding and stood by his original estimate even though prices went up. Todd explained everything in detail and was up front and honest answering any questions we had. I had many estimates done and Todd made me feel the most comfortable with making this decision. His employees were hard working, courteous, and professional. When they were finished they did an excellent job cleaning up. We love our solatube. I enjoy working with Chris and Todd. We found The Skylighters at a home show in Tampa in 2005. We expressed interest in their product and the next day they were at our home. They accessed our needs made suggestions and ordered what we needed. When they came to install, everything was there, they installed cleaned up and left. Two years later we called again, Todd remembered our address, everything. In the last 3 months we have installed more skylights and the gutters now work great.

Overall the process was beyond easy. Our estimate was done by Todd and Mike, who were punctual, and professional. They answered all of our questions, and made great recommendations for which tubular skylight we should choose for our bathroom. Once we closed on the house, and could start work, we gave them a call (it was a Wednesday) and they put us on the schedule. While originally they were scheduled about 7-10 days out, they called us Friday offering us a spot on Monday that had just opened up. So from our call to our new roof and skylight was less than 4 business days. We chose the Energy Star white shingles, and the SolaTube skylight, and are thrilled with how good everything looks. The SolaTube has also made a world of difference, turning a cave like bathroom, into a well lit beauty. Todd and Mike were great to work with, and always good about returning phone calls in a reasonable time.
